I saw an ad in a diabetes advertising supplement magazine for the Bionime blood glucose meters: http://www.bionimeusa.com/front_page Looks like it might be a good meter to use for cats. There are three different models to choose from. The only downside is that the brand is not widely available :-Q The web site lists a few retail stores. Amazon.com does sell one of the meters and test strips ($18.99 for kit includes 50 test strips). AmericanDiabetesWholesale.com sell another model for $9.99 but no test strips are included in the kit. Test strips are $14.99 for 50.

that's a great deal...but i'd like to get some feedback on it before i buy. my truetest is worthless. over 100 points difference with other meters. and in general altho i send contours they run about 30 points high on 150+ numbers, with lower numbers they run about the same.
i had 100 strips for truetest but i can not in good faith send them out! bummer.
