so my cat developed neuropathy around the same time he was diagnosed with diabetes. He can walk, his back legs are just weaker than normal and he walks almost bow legged. We've been giving him methyl B12 but it hasn't helped. I'm going to take him for a check up but I'm wondering if there's anything else that could help him?

The vitamin b helps but getting his bg levels well controlled is key. It takes weeks to months to reverse the neuropathy.

What have his numbers been like? Are you home testing?

There are many previous threads on this topic. B12 won't help much until his BG gets regulated - as Janet pointed out. Our kitteh Leo had pretty bad neuropathy, and it was resolved with good regulation and some B12.
