My name is Nelli.
I am a geri-geriatric feline (age 19-21; we don’t know), whom Mommy rescued, August 1, 2010.
I was a “stray”, never “feral” hanging out on LBK...
So, I’ve been tough girl on the streets most of my life.
I was diagnosed with mild Asthma back in April 2017... when I was diagnosed the Vet told Mommy someday I might need to be on a steroid-
Well, at Mommy’s demand I never be put on steroids- the VET GAVE me a steroid injection August 27, 2017!
This not only sent me into heart failure days later, I believe it brought on my high Glucose readings.
I AM NOW diabetic .
Mommy was (finally?!?) advised to put me on insulin.
We are not doing too good with controlling my diabetes and would appreciate help from you...
Thanks,
Nelli

Hi and welcome to you both.:)
Can you tell us what dose of insulin Nelli has please?
Are you home testing the blood sugar levels?. We strongly advise that you home test...it not only tells us how Nelli is reacting to the insulin but it keeps her safe from low numbers.

Once you are home testing we will be able to help you much more. We record all the blood sugar levels ..BSLs...on a spreadsheet. I can give you the link once you are home testing.

Are you feeding a low carb, high protein diet?
