needle gauge 30 vs 31

I just got back from the store and they gave me 30 gauge instead of 31 gauge needles. Everything else is right so I am wondering if this is enough of a difference to bother Kyndra. I am out, so have no choice but to open them up and start using tonight. They are 5/16" u/100 for Lantus.

I accidently bought 30g by accident once and Champ didn't notice the difference too much. The only thing I noticed was that his skin where I injected would quiver for a second when I shot, but it wasn't even enough of an annoyance for him to get his nose out of his food and look to see what was going on back there!

Thanks for the quick reply! She is due right about...now! Kyndra is pretty tolerant of the whole thing so I will let her tell me, but I think I will make sure that next time I get the finer one. I know that when I switched to the extra fine lancet it made a big difference - but then again, that's her poor little ear

Both are reeeeelly slim needles. I've used 28 gauge...much bigger, with no problem.
Then again, Tom was one tough kitty.
