Please I need your help.
Our 13 years old cat - Fred- was Dx last 10/14 as a Dc.
He was Rx antibiotic to treat ear and urinary infection.
Vet also Rx 3U/ Lantus.
His test was around 360.
Friends from FDMB suggested to hold on insulin and give only 1/U after infections are gone.
We removed him from dry food the same day he was Dx.
He is eating every 3 hours FF Classic.
Only today (10/19) I could start to get his BG with a human meter.
I just did his first blood tests and was very high.
What should I do please.

It's ok to start a new post....just put the link to the last one in so people can quickly go back and see what's been going on

Here's your earlier post

The fructosamine number and the BG number on your meter are two totally different numbers.

With him in the 300's on your meter, I'd start on insulin tonight if you're going to be home to test for the next several days

You'll need to decide which protocol you want to use...Tight Regulation or Start Low, Go slow, but if he's eating only wet now, I think you could start at 1U and hold it unless he drops below 50

No I don't think you can now that there are comments on it

If you get it before there are any comments, I think you just choose "More options" and the option to delete comes up

I know on this comment, the option to "delete" is at the bottom left side but not sure where it's at on a new post
