Need to change shot time for 1 day

I have a question about shot times: a co-worker passed away Wednesday and I just found out his funeral is at 12pm on Sunday - I usually feed George at 11:30am/pm and give him his insulin at 12pm/am - the funeral is an hour away, would it be really bad if I moved everything up an hour for 1 day? Would I need to give a slightly smaller dose Saturday night and a slightly larger dose Sunday morning to compensate for the shorter/longer time between shots?

I know it's bad to adjust times, and my little guy still isn't completely regulated, but I'd really like to pay tribute to my co-worker

It should be just fine. In our family, schedule conflicts are a daily occurrence, as you can tell from the spreadsheet. You just tweak it and go on. Unless George is really low at +11, you should be just fine with your regular dose or just a little less. Or you could slide everything back a half hour tomorrow, and then another half hour or 45 minutes on Sunday.

Linus doesn't drop to numbers that are anywhere near scary, but even if he did, I would just take the time to test twice to be sure he was coming up, and be sure to leave food out.

I'm sorry about your co-worker. Funerals are never easy, don't stress about the cat on top of it.
