Does anyone have the spreadsheet in excel they can send me? I don't have the skill to recreate and I don't like working in Google docs.

We are dealing with a tricky diabetic, our second steroid induced cat. Unlike Newkitty, one shot and a week of a low dose of predwas all it took (Newkitty took it 2 times daily for 7 years before turning diabetic). He is meal fed canned food, has never been given steroids again and we cannot keep weight on him (8lbs 3 oz--he looks so thin--9 lbs is his sweet spot) nor can we keep him from yo-yoing (I don't think it's Somogyi...he does NOT eat consistently no matter what we offer him). I really don't know how to handle this kind of diabetic. Despite Newkitty continuing to be on pred her whole life (even now, and she has been off insulin for a year) and always eating high carb dry, she was a very consistent diabetic and quickly regulated on U and Lantus. He is hyper-T (well-regulated) and has feline herpes, likely in his teens.

I think this spreadsheet will help us get on track. Can anyone share??

I don't know what excel ss you mean; most people use the ss template in Google docs.
I suppose you could make one. What problem do you have with the ss that others use here?
The reason for Google docs ss is so that everyone can see the ss; not everyone has excel, so they would not be able to view your excel ss.

What yoyoing do you mean if your cat is off insulin?

How do I find ss in google docs?

Hi Gayle. My post mentioned two steroid-induced cats. Newkitty is off insulin after 7 years here at FDMB. The other, meal-fed cat is the one I can't get regulated. His name is Buddy. He is the one I need to start charting in a more structured manner for.

ETA: Never mind, I found the sticky I needed.
