Need some help with buying test supplies

I am about to go to Walmart to pick up the reliOn micro testing kit, I know I need the kit, Lancets?, and test strips, do they all need to be reli-on? We had a bit of an incident last night and I didn't give her insulin today because I think her dose is too high as she has cut back on the ravenous appetite it seems. I saw it early and gave her some temptations treats while I went down and got the karo syrup syringe and between both problems were averted. She is on Lantus 3U 2x/day. BTW she does not get dry, only gave her the treats because of this incident.

I get all relion because I mostly find they are cheapest. 200 lancets for 2 dollars. At walgreens CVS they are 8 dollars. I use relion prime get 100 strips for 17.88.

Neosporin with pain relief, and I use the round cosmetic cotton for pressing against ear. I cut them in half and use one to hold behind her ear so I don't poke me, then fold it over to press gently. Bleeding stops pretty fast.

Make sure the strips you buy match the meter you buy, even within a single brand (ReliOn) there are several types of each and they aren't interchangeable. If you need syringes they will be behind the counter.
