Since we started the new vial, Charley's numbers have been all over the place. I'm thinking his amps this morning might have been a bounce. I could really use some dosing help. He had a nice cycle so far today, and his nadir was probably elevated by a snack he had around noon. Should I hold at .5? I'm thinking .75 with the new vial is too much. I only have u40's so anything in between is difficult. Any advice is appreciated.
Updated: so his nadir was food influenced. His Pmps is 170. No insulin tonight. I don't know if the .5 was too much or Mr. P is visiting.

You're getting a long cycle this time which could mean his P is helping out.

I wouldn't increase right now until you can maybe get a curve to see how his cycle is really going, otherwise we're just guessing. Even spot checks early or late in they cycle will help fill in the puzzle pieces.

To me it looks like .75 has been too much a few times. Without the "middle" numbers, it's really hard to tell, but if you look at the cycles on 6/2 am, it just slopes down from AMPS to PMPS by 100 points (indicates too high a dose). Same thing on 6/3, where it was 17 hours till you got a number you could shoot. And again today.
I'd go with .5 and stick with it for a few days, and try to get tests at any random time you can, am or pm.
