Due to an issue with schedule and work I won't be home from 7am till 8pm. My hubby is also out from 9am to 2pm, so what to do about Loki? I just found out the schedule change and DH already had this planned (he cannot change these plans they are work related)
no neighbors, where am going to find help for Loki BG check and shot tomorrow morning? OMG how bad will this be for him. I am so nailbite_smile nailbite_smile nailbite_smile This is the first time I have had this problem, will this set Loki back or worse harm him?
Please if you can let me know tonight what if any of you have gone thru this.
Thanks in advance.

If you can't be home for shot time in the AM, and it means skipping, it isn't the end of the world. If you are able to give the shot but can't test, you can do the BCS dose thing. (big chicken s**t), where you give a lower dose rather than skip completely.
But skipping one shot is not going to derail the train.:-)

If you decide to give the shot or the reduced shot, just be sure to leave plenty of food out and available for him all day. Maybe put out an extra can just to be safe.

I am thinking maybe your shot time is after the time both you and your husband leave .. Like 10am or something? Anyway if that's the case I would not shoot since you would have to shoot very early. I would skip this one and do the next one on schedule tomorrow night.

In future if your work gives you warning you can move the shots by 30mins a day in advance.
