need opinions please

I'm hoping people can give there opinion on whether I should give Harry his .5 u based on the info so far? I have to work tonite so I won't be able to do a pmps so need to make a desicion now. I'm thinking that I should skip it since he is only at 146 at +8. I only have u40 needles so I can't really estimate a smaller dose than .5. I will be picking up some u100 on friday but no $$ right now.

Any advise is welcome...

While I don't use your insulin I think I would skip the evening shot as well if he was mine and I wasn't going to be home in the evening to monitor him...Better he be a little high tomorrow than too low tonight when no one is around to check on him...IMHO

Would it be helpful to pick up a ruler with millimeter markings and use that to give you some reference lines for dosing? You might gauge it against an empty syringe, mark the empty syringe and use it as a comparison standard. (clip the needle or cap it so you don't stick yourself!)
