Need help with dosing

Any advice on whether I should decrease the dose again? Is it too soon?

I go back to work next week, and I'm not totally comfortable with how low she's going at this dose given that she will rarely be checked mid-cycle (except on weekends). Am I right to worry?

Melissa,

She looks to me like you are on a perfect dose for her. Yes, she is going low but not dangerously low, she is right about where you want her, those are beautiful numbers. If you are really concerned about her going to low maybe just leave her a little frozen food out so she has something to nibble on if she thinks she is too low. She still has plenty of wiggle room there even at those low 60s.

If you do reduce I wouldn't go down very much, maybe .25u if that just to give you a little more peace of mind.

Hi Melissa,

It looks to me like you are at or about the right dose of Lantus for Celle at this time. It appears that the 3.25U dose was causing some bounce. The 3U dose should be better for Cella at this time.

Your question from a few days ago concerned dropping her dose, which you did. Good call on that.

You might be able to get some midcycle tests this weekend that can tell you whether the 3U is OK or too high for her.

You are doing great!!

The only thing I suggest is changing your signature line to indicate which is the current spreadsheet. I first went to the Levemir SS because it was first in the list.
