My Little Girl is on 1 unit twice a day of Vestulin. I want to increase her dosage but the vet says her numbers are all over the place and that I must be doing it wrong. I think I am doing it right unless the meter isn't functioning right. What do you think? I think that would probably be fine for now, just next time you are able to, pick up some with 1/2 units to make it a bit easier!
I would do the 1.25u for 7 days and then assess from there. If at any time she falls below 90, reduce the dose immediately by 0.25 units. Just keep testing how you are, with at least one test in the PM cycle if you are able to
Can you do two minor things when you get the chance? First, could you rename Little Girl’s spreadsheet? This will help us when we pull up her spreadsheet to look at her readings. All you have to do is click on the name and put something like “Little Girl’s spreadsheet”. Could you also set up a signature?
