? Need HELP and advice. PS#s falling, do I give shot or reduce? stalling..

I posted this in the Lantus forum and havent received a reply so I am posting over here too. I am sorry if I shouldnt do that, but I really need some advice ASAP. I am stalling, but Katie is screaming for her breakfast, she tends to vomit when her meal is late and her tummy is empty too.
I dont know whether to shoot or how much to give her.



Katie's PS was 120. Checked her hr later and now at 106 & 113 ( always try to do 2 tests).
Her numbers have been high for 5-6 weeks, rarely falling below 200. We saw a 99 on Sunday. Back up Mon & Tues, figure she was bouncing.

Numbers this AM are low for her, especially for a preshot.

Dont know what to do, am stalling. She's hungry ready to eat and getting super grumpy.
Here by myself, so testing is super difficult by myself (usually DH holds her), sometimes she will let me by myself, sometimes not. I cant guarantee I how much more I can test her, I know I cant do it every 20 minutes or something, she will never let me do that. I got lucky to do tests 1 hr apart this AM.

Was suppose to have vet appt. for my another kitty this AM, but can cancel if I have to.

Dont know whether to give reduced shot, what to do... hate to skip when we are finally seeing better #s, but I want to keep her safe. She is not predictable in this situation, this is unusual for us.

Please look at her sheet and give me your opinion.

Update-
I just managed tested again and it was the same basically, 109 & 115. It's been about 45 minutes since last test. It would be a + 13.25. So they are not rising yet.
I know her numbers are in the safe range, I am just concerned what more insulin will do to her right now. I have to feed her, I just dont know whether to shoot now or wait.

I'm not a Lantus user but I know how a depot insulin works. If you want to be totally safe you could skip the shot. Some might suggest dropping down to 1 unit (some insulin is better than none and you've been giving 2 units for a few days now) but I'd rather you hear from the experienced people on the Lantus forum.

I am here, but testing by myself is difficult. HC food makes her sick (vomiting), she is on raw and can only tolerate that. Crap.
I have to make a decision here...I am thinking skip (which I dont want to) or BCS, like .5 or .75.

Maybe shoot only 1 unit then and if HC makes her sick, have you tried a few drops of honey or syrup?
 
Just gave .5 just so I didnt feel like I skipped it altogether. I do have questions about her dosage though and been meaning to post for advice, but I will keep it on the Lantus forum.

Sorry for all the drama. And thank you to all who have replied. Its so hard when you are here by yourself.
I called to cancel my other kitty's vet appt and my vet told me skip shot altogether today (even tonight) and just test tomorrow and see how she is doing. Sigh. Not helpful. He has a good heart but he really is very old school about FD, so I dont really have him to go to advice either. He is not very familiar with Lantus at all, he suggested maybe going to a shot once a day...which we all know here is not right. So I just listen to his suggestions and nod, rather than disagree with him, and then do what I think is best.
 
With Lantus, they say shoot low to stay low. I started seeing progress with Frankie when I started shooting the full dose into lower numbers and not doing chicken shots. As long as you know his nadir on a dose when he breaks a bounce, in theory it should be ok. But I can't see your spreadsheet at the minute, so I am only commenting my experiences. Also what helped with Frankie was not reacting with an immediate reduction to a number below 68 (I use Alpha Trak). I know he doesn't hold reductions well, so I decided on a three strike rule. If in doubt, I went with my gut.
