Help! What do I do? My cat, Tige (tee zhee) had HUGE drop last night. He started at over 400 and nearly 5 hours later was at 125. Now, this morning, before food, he is way up to 450. I am giving him 4 units of ProZinc and changed his food yesterday. How much ProZinc do I give him now? Do I stay at 4 or should I dial it back?
He was diagnosed June 21 and started at 1, we were up to 3 until Thursday, the day after I did a BG curve and the nadir was only 280. The vet told me to raise it to 4. I changed the food myself from Hills m/d to FF classic pate chicken. He is 15.8 pounds and I am giving him 2 1/2 cans every 12 hours. Thanks.
