Quick question, my boy usually has breakfast at 10:15 and his shot at 10:30 both in a.m. and p.m.
Unfortunately I had to make a dentist appointment for 10 o’clock one day next week.
Should I give my boy his breakfast and shot earlier, food at 9:15 and shot at 9:30 or should I wait until I get home which should be food at 11:30 shot at 11:45? I’m thinking earlier, probably would be best. your thoughts please?

With glargine, you can give the shots earlier by either 1/2 hour once per day, or 15 minutes per cycle. Since you have plenty of time until the dentist appointment, you can gradually move his shot time up between now and then. Would that work for you? I had a monthly meeting where I had to leave home about 3/4 hour before Neko's regular shot time. I shot earlier by 15 minutes each day for the 3 days before hand so the shot was on time the day I needed to leave early.

Ok here is my next question, I can walk it back in 15 minute increments starting Sunday for the appointment on Thursday. He would then get his shot at 9:30 in the morning and at 9:30 at night. My problem is the very next night. I will not be home until 10:30 in the evening, so will be an hour later, when he gets his shot, is that going to be a problem?

Being an hour late is not ideal, but much better than being an hour early. Another option is on Thursday you can give it at 10:00pm at night and Friday back to 10:30pm.
