My boy has an episode of hypoglycemia this is the second one on his life. We discovered he is diabetic a year ago. We have given honey and food. How long can take to react? Still wandering around disoriented.

Honey acts fastest, but still might take 15mins or so to take effect. If it is a very deep hypo, you may need to administer honey multiple times to bring him out.

It doesn't seem like you are home testing? If you have an ER vet close by and someone to drive while you administer honey, it may be safer to take him in.

I hope your cat is ok now. I didn't see this post last night. Please start testing at home... He will need a dose reduction, and sometimes they are sensitive after a hypo. This sounds like it was a bad one if he was to the point of being disoriented. I have a video in my signature showing how I test my cat CC at home. Testing has saved her life quite a few times.
