Hi Just a little nervous Tyler's Pre Shot hasn't been this high in a very long time.
Linda always helps me out with Tyler.

So just tested @+2 he is 90 Gave him some FF Pate at 11:30 pm
Dropped 144 points, he never drops that low or that fast. Should I re test in 30 minutes

Hmmm... it's always possible it was a bad strip on the 234 (assuming you didn't re-test that number), but that 90 is too low for an AT and vetsulin, definitely too low for +2.

I can't stay up tonight, but I would definitely recommend a re-test in 30, just to see what he's up to, and get your carb-y foods ready just in case.

Hi Nan I tested him with another strip and it was 236 so wasn't a bad strip
Just strange. I will re test now mid night

109 @+2.5 so it came up I will not feed and re test in 30 minutes again

OK. I do not use vetsulin and am far from an expert, but that still seems too close for comfort to me, given that the insulin is just getting started working. I think testing on the 30's is a good plan for now, and be prepared to carb him up to get him through the active part of the cycle.
