Need advice with tummy woes

My poor Sya has her liquipoo again. Dx with diabetes last year...doing OK on 3 units Lantus. Has struggled on and off with bouts of diarreah all year. Gets yellow bloody stool at its worst. Is maintained on probiotics. Eats Wellness wet usually turkey and chicken. Has done courses of Metrinidizole the most recent 10 day stint only depressingly ended a little over 10 days ago. (she usually does really well for weeks after that). I let her have some Wellness chicken and herring. Probably a bad plan on my part. Wondering if I didn't set off the last part...though she's been tolerating things so well lately. I guess I got over confident. :YMSIGH: Vet suggested trying her on a bland diet for a while...says I may need to balance the need for low carbs with the need to help her belly heal. (haven't even figured if she'll eat it yet). Anyway, probably going to call the vet tomorrow to refill the Metronidizole...but wondering what else to ask about...next steps?? Anyone had experience with this? Sorry so long. Its just frustrating and sad to see her miserable.

Hi,.
One of my cats had diarrhea and we gave him this product and it cleared it up. I would check with your vet to see what he/she thinks:

PetAlive RunnyPoo Relief is a natural homeopathic and herbal remedy that is used with great success by many cat owners. It contains:

Plantain - a well known herbal remedy used to support the digestive system and mucous membranes.
Lady’s Mantle - promotes healthy firm stools and supports bowel functioning.
Podophyllum 6C - a homeopathic remedy for diarrhea.
Sulphur 6C - used homoeopathically, it supports digestive function.
Arsen alb. 6C - a well known homeopathic remedy that helps to support the nervous system. This is good for cats with a nervous temperament who are prone to digestive upsets.
A few drops of PetAlive RunnyPoo Relief in your cat’s food can clear up diarrhea very quickly

I sure hope your kitty feels better
