Need a new vet in Fort Worth, Texas

I'm in desperate need of a new vet. I live in Fort Worth.

I'm in Dallas. I am going to see a new vet in South Lake. She is cat only and I found her because she participated in a feline diabetes symposium in 2015. She has excellent reviews. The place is called Kitten to Cat hospital. Sparkle and I are going there for his first appt. on Wednesday. I'll be posting how it went.

If it's in Southlake, prepare to spend lots of dollars....dang glad I no longer live there...but hopefully she'll fit well with you!
 
The initial visit is only $55 and that is less than a follow up at VCA in Irving. They have even scheduled out extra time for us and at no additional charge. We'll see what the labs cost.
 
My initial office visit at my other vet in Oak Cliff is $75, but their follow ups are only $34 and sometimes they don't even charge that. I love that they are close to me and that they have a beautiful new facility and a nice staff, but there is not a single diabetic cat being treated there and they will be the first to say they are clueless, especially with the stomatitis on top of it.
 
Thanks, please let me know how your visit goes. Southlake is a bit of drive for me. I'm not sure how Sheba will be in the car that long but if it's worth it, we will try.
 
@Sparkle How did the vet appointment go? Sheba's numbers have stayed in a good range so I haven't had to give her dose since 2/27 morning. I guess we're in the honeymoon phase? But I don't want to find out what happens when that ends without a new vet to be able to work with :)
