My Pudgy is gone...

This morning Pudgy had to be put to sleep. The vets could not get him to respond to anything they tried. He was on a massive dose of insulin, and his numbers kept going up instead of down, and he was in a coma, and possibly brain damaged.

I am beyond heartbroken, completely devastated, and my heart will never be the same. I want to thank everyone for their prayers, and I appreciate everyone's comments. I was so hopeful after I found this site, and I was so excited to get him home, to take care of him. Words can't express how sad my heart is.

(((Sherrie))) I'm so, so sorry for the sudden loss of your kitty. It's hard enough when they are sick and you know they won't get well, but to suddenly find out your kitty is diabetic and so sick and not responding at all to treatment and then losing him is horrific. Our pets aren't "just cats or dogs or whatever." They're family, they're living creatures we can have a strong emotion bond with, that we love. Some do steal our hearts in a bigger way than others. But each one gives us something we need and can learn from and can also help men a broken heart when we are ready. It's heartbreaking to read your post but please know that you are among people who understand and are here for you.
