I noticed this when I first saw it and did not thing anything of it. Was looking around and noticed ProZinc Cat Insulin.
Is this a problem??

I don't know for sure, Sev. When my kitty was diabetic, we used PZI. It was an animal insulin. ProZinc is the replacement for it. It is marketed for diabetic cats. I honestly don't know if humans use a different labeled insulin or not. BCP is a compounded PZI insulin, thought by some to be the closest to the original PZI. But other vets don't like it because it is compounded and the quality might vary.

Good question and I am sure someone will know the answer.

You might search for ProZinc on the internet and PZI and BCP PZI.

My prozinc is derived from human rna as well. Don't worry about it. In fact, it's less likely to screw you up if you poke yourself with the syringe. The veterinary formula is derived from bovine rna, I think.

In fact Levemir and Lantus are the exact same formulas human diabetics use.

Prozinc is rDNA. PZI is bovine. Search PZI forum for "insulin primer", I think. I posted about the differences about a month ago including links....
