My Simba has not had an insulin (ProZinc) injection since June 29th. He has been running in the low 70/80/90. I did put him back on dry Core food since it's so difficult to feed him wet since I work full time and I have two kitties. Hard to tell who's eating what while I'm at work. So he's been on the dry core for 2 months now. I still prick him for time to time, but today he was 137. I don't think I should be alarmed? - My vet said if he goes over 180 to give him 1 unit of ProZinc, so I think I'm okay?. Just want some reassurance.

One reading of 137 is not an alarm but a warning. The dry food could push him back into diabetes. Have you tried Evo - it is the lowest carb dry.

i leave out the wet food all day. normally when i come home from work i clean out and put fresh out if there is any left. summer its harder because its get too warm and then bad, but now its getting cooler it can sit out with no issues

i think people on here have mentioned freezing it but i havent tried that yet
