My exCivi Lightning Mush have Gotten Jealous

My 16-year old Lightning had surgery about a month ago to remove a mass a repair an old hernia. The pre-surgery blood work showed he was hyperthyroid. The BG was 86. He also has intestinal problems. A week after surgery I started the thyroid meds and budesonide. About three weeks after that bloodwork showed the T4 was where it should be but that BG was 200. The vet did not even point out to me that the BG was high. I tes ed at home and got a BG of about 180. The BG kept going up even after stopping the budesonide. Friday it was 308 and I started him on Lantus. I see some improvement. This evening his PS was 163.

I guess that Lighting was just jealous for all the attention my diabetics always get.
