My cat, Skeeter, has these strange spots on them. White circles. Our vet said it is from an allergy. Has anyone heard of this?

If on both ears then could be an allergy since allergies (unless contact allergy) are bilateral. I would just monitor them and see a vet if get work like open sores or redness,

I did see some spots like that on Frog's ear before I switched brands of lancet... I had thought it was from that ear being handled so much, but allergy could make sense since it went away when I switched brands/sizes of lancet, and stopped using Neosporin... So I guess now I know, he's either allergic or sensitive to the relion lancets, or to Neosporin.

could also be a form of ringworm which is nothing serious...........Harley had it and I just put polysporin on them or other ointment and it cleared up in a couple days............if not that, sometimes it's age spots and they show up on the ears since this is the place where there is little hair or fur and we can see it........much the same as humans when we see them on our hands or face.........nothing to worry about unless they grow and become really pronounced.

Hmmm, maybe I used the anti fungal cream as just checked and I have some, so I stand corrected. Thanks Larry! Maybe it's another non-abrasive fungus on their ears? Perhaps send a picture to your Vet and they might be able to DX it right away. Harley had definite rings on his ears, but it was a fungus and cleared up right away (I could feel it too, raised circle)...........doesn't look like much and Davidson has some small whites spots similar to your picture that don't appear to be anything.
