GA My Baby Boy Kai...

I finally got Kai into remission for a couple weeks. He was doing really great. but some how the last few days he was not doing good. the eve of the 24th I noticed he was not eating and wasn't even interested but he was drinking water. The next day he stopped drinking water and still not eating. His blood sugar was still good. late in the afternoon he was lethargic and just wanted to sleep. I called the vet and brought him in. they put him on intravenous and pain meds, antibiotic. They think it was pancreatitis and possibly urinary infection or an infection. He seemed to be doing better so I picked him up later on in the day, but he still wasn't eating even after giving him something to stimulate his eating. The next day I could see he had gotten worse because he just wanted to hide and sleep and he was not responding to me his body was limp and glassy eyed. I brought him back to the vet because at this point he was dehydrated and his body temp was 90. They told me that he was not going to get better so I had to put him down. I will miss my baby boy Kai! :(
I wanted to thank everyone who responded to my questions and made me feel like I could do it.
Grateful!!!

It breaks my heart to read this sad news. I'm so very sorry that your sweet boy Kai has passed. You did everything you could for him and he knew how much he was loved. :bighug::bighug::bighug:
