If I learned anything from yesterday and the dance that Musette but me through is no matter how well you think you know your cat, they can and will throw you a curveball every now and then. Well that and never underestimate the power of an oral syringe.

Musette and I have danced the dance of low numbers several time before yesterday and never did I imagine that she wouldn't eat for me when she hit a low, or how valuable that simple $3 piece of plastic would be in pulling her through.

If your hypo kit doesn't include a simple oral syringe...Please get one, it literally made all the difference in the world yesterday and saved us a 300 mile run to an ER vet, because I was able to use it to get food into her.

Great job yesterday keeping up with Musette. I'm so glad she's eating again on her own. I bet she's happy too since you're not poking her every half hour.

Well I wouldn't use the word Happy, but definitely happier than she was with me by last night...lol She is afterall still a tortie and still a diva and what mom did to her yesterday offended her dignity. How dare I force her to eat and turn her into a pincushion! She was actually kind of cute last night when she came to bed with us, she wouldn't even look at me and marched right over to daddy's pillow and snuggled with him...mom was just plain scum. I would talk to her and she would turn her back on me or shoot daggers over her shoulder.

This morning I am mostly forgiven...not completely just yet but she is thinking about it. ohmygod_smile
