Well, I took your advice and went to Target and purchased a 5-pack of onesies! She's not sure what to do, and is sort of walking backwards, but I think I got big enough ones to keep her from feeling constrained. Take a peak!! Now, I just hope I can keep her from messing with the wound. The little short sleeves seem to bother her a bit, and I hope they aren't too tight.

Oh she is sooooo cute !!!

The little hearts are precious.

I hope it works out.

I'll bet she is more comfortable.

If the arms are too tight, open up the under-arm seam a little bit.

She is far more comfy now, that's for sure. I've got to figure out where exactly I need to cut these little jammys, especially, if I need to use them over, don't want to ruin them. She doesn't seem to mind them at all and hasn't tried to get them off, so this is a far better idea!

Thanks so much!

Yes, she sure does have an owie. I just hope, and please, all cross your fingers, that this heals properly. Why do I feel that I have to watch every move - is this normal for all of you? Her BG numbers are great, and after such a short time, the d. cati mite is gone, but she is still sort of listless. She never was a very energetic kitty, but we've also got feline asthma to deal with, although on inhaled meds. Perhaps the lack of Dx in 2009 simply wrecked her immune system. I have no idea, it sure bums me out though.

Well, pajamas it is and pajamas it was! I woke up this a.m., and Murphy had stripped down to her nakedness! Not sure how she got out of that! She's a little Houdini that's all I can say, and it was worth a try!

twinkie needed a onsie also. I doubled up on them, front and back. got mine at the $ store. he did manage to get out of them on occasion also.
the funny side to this was mom sometimes left the door open and he would escape. always found him cause onsie got caught up and came off so I always knew the direction he went and was able to find him easily. (was not funny at the time)

I have used small sized dog clothing or doggie diapers. This fits my cat who likes to keep licking hot spots on her chest. Right now she is wearing a shirt with snowmen on it. The diapers work for kitties who have accidents on trips to the vet but I usually have to secure it with extra tape.

This are great ideas guys but so funny I took a tube sock and cut it and put it on him so my Schooch would stop licking his belly. Also when he had a pain patch on worked for a bit but these are so very very sweet Hugs to all and green healing light for those ouches Kath & Trey & Zoo

So far, she hasn't been messing with the wound, but I sure would like to see if I could at least get her to wear it through the day while I'm gone. It is so funny though I have to admit that she would feel good enough to wiggle her way out of her little pj's. They were laying on my sofa this a.m. It's almost like they seem to be on backwards on kitties, and should be put on the other way. I'm getting a kick out of her though.

Yes, little boo boo needs to go away. I hope her owie heals quickly. :

I hope her owie goes away fast too! I must say, that picture is so cute it made my cheeks ache like a mouthful of sugar! How precious she is!

You are all so sweet to say such nice things about my baby with her owie! But, onesy's are bye bye for Murphy. She doesn't want to get up and move around in them. So, sad as it is, I have to go back to the collar I think, unless I can find a t-shirt made specifically for kitties.

Any ideas?

I don't think she'll be scuba diving in the very near future! She said she hates the water! Anyways, I snipped away at her adorable little pjs a little bit to make room for her so she wasn't so uncomfortable. I doubled up on them, front and back, so she's got on a "twosy!" She's sleeping now, but I'll see if I can grab a photo of her. Poor little thing - this wound has to heal. I don't want her licking and tugging at those staples. If she can get to the counter, by jumping onto the entertainment center and then jumping on the counter, then she can get these staples out. :)
