MURPHY TODAY - TERRIFIC VET VISIT AND CHECK HER OUT

Murphy went to the vet today to get a small check up - needed to get her weight and she wanted to show off the new her! They couldn't believe how well she looked. She was definitely strutting her stuff and her vet tech, David (actually it's her boyfriend) just came and picked her up and just hugged her -- he took such good care of her while she was so ill. Anyways, her numbers are so good, her vet said that she looked "like a glamore girl and was ready for the runway!" Here's today's pick - she wants to be a bear (or a bunny rabbit) in her next life. Hilarious! But, it's all becuase she's feeling so much better.

This morning, I heard her meowing, and came out, and she was actually carrying around her little cat nip toy in her mouth! So shocking - hadn't seen that in so long.

So, she did so terrific today, I ended up taking her for a ride, we went to Pet Smart and I let her pick out another cat nip toy! I'm so proud of her!!

Just when I was doubting God, he truly did save her, that's all I can say. She's vocal again, playing, it's so wonderful. And, I see that little "pink" nose of hers coming back now. Haven't seen that since she started with that darned d. cati mite. It's nice to see.

I hate to brag, but I'm so proud of her, and thank you all for your encouragement and support. You have all helped me understand so much.

Iam glad she is doing so good.lately I will read a new post only to see a day or two later the cat is gone ahead or put to sleep. Let's celebrate the victories!!! This is your Thanksgiving present. Congrats again, jan and kitties. :-)
 
What a doll!!! Glad to hear she is doing so well....She has come a long ways from those first few posts...Bravo to you both.

Lisa -- Sorry I missed all your posts. What was the diagnosis, and how did you get her better? (And congrats that she is doing so well! :-D )
