I have not updated Murphy's SS for the last few days, but have been keeping track of her numbers, and she is doing so well, it's almost unbelievable. We've started her on L-Lysine and Vetri-DMG to help boost her immune system, since she is so compromised. The Vetri-DMG is an amazing, amazing supplement, and is non-toxic, and is great for hyperglycemic cats/dogs. She gets .50 ML twice per day and has been on the DMG for 14 days, and it's just amazing at her well-being.
One question I have is -- tonight, just got home, and she is licking her licks, is this from nausea?

Lisa

lip smacking can indeed be nausea.

have you guys used pepcid ac before? it can be used to help settle an upset tummy in a kitty, 1/4 of a 10mg tablet of the regular pepcid ac.

YAY MsMurphy!!! I've been wondering where you guys were. So glad your seeing improvement. and yes on the licking lips (cats have lips?) very well could be nausea.

Yes, she gets Pepcid AC just about every day. I've only noticed the licking lips thing a few times, but I assumed that it was nausea. Hey, take a look at her SS. She's totally in the blue!!! And, the Vetri-DMG, boy, I cannot tell you how much of a difference it is making with her overall well-being. Her breathing has returned to normal, probably mostly due to the L-Lysine and she looks fabulous. I wish I could post photographs of the succession of her disease, because you would be in awe at how sick she was. Okay I figured it out. Take a look at my little darling!

Yes, she was very, very sick, not only the un-Dx diabetes, but dealing with the d. cati and the MRSA. After this photograph, the MRSA became ocular and was in her eyes. She looks fabulous!

like night and day! lisa you did so good by your baby ms. murphy. the two of you should be so proud of each other getting thru that ordeal together. i'm getting a little teary...sniff.

I've been tearing all day because when I see a perfectly healthy beautiful little girl and then how sick she was, literally on her way out, the MRSA already in her system, both of us are so lucky that we have made contact with the perfect vet, have the best medications, and guidelines. Get this - VetriScience is going to take her testimonial after seeing her photographs. She's going to be a superstar! :)

She looks 150% better, doesn't she? She is an amazing little girl, and lucky to still be here.

damn lucky to have you for a mama. and yes her story should be seen and told.
i am just so happy for you both.

ya know her profile pic she looks black and white and these pics she looks more tan and brown with white. she is super cutie pie.

Those bright happy eyes bring joy to my heart.
This is what it's all about. Healthy kitties!

Yes, her almond shaped eyes will forever be in my heart. I cannot believe the turnaround with her, and as you can see, the July photograph, she was near the end of her demise. Battling MRSA 5 times, with the d. cati mite, it's been a very dangerous but strengthening journey for both of us. With the insulin, and now the Vetri-DMG, she is really improving. The Vetri-DMG is an amazing holistic product that fights to many things, inflammation, neuropathy, skin disorders, immune suppression, regulates blood glucose and a host of other serious things. To me, similar to Interferon -- but a natural amino acid. I just cannot believe the progress in the 10-12 days she's been getting it. It's truly amazing. I'm glad to see her looking to good.
