MURPHY PMPS +311 (Not Good)

Well, it appears that what I thought wouldn't happen may be happening. Although, my vet, for some reason, wanted her to eat 1/8 cup of Hill's R/D b/c she is so constipated all the time. And, that's been since the 16th. I thought these numbers might be indicative of just the food, but then today, I tested her urine BG, and it turned a light tan, where she was no sugar last visit to the hospital.

Now what? She's at 311 right now. I have a feeling this is the end of the vacation. confused_cat :(
 
I agree with Sienne - thats a high carb percentage for a kitty who is technically still a diabetic & just in remission. Get Murphy off the R/D and try the miralax...hopefully that will get her down.
 
Miralax doesn't appear to do much for her, but I'm going to start using the lactulose 2 times per day, possibly 3. Just talked w/ her vet. I knew in my heart that with that many carbs, it would blow her #s out of the water, but she did poo right after she ate -- 1/8th cup -- that's hardly anything!

Anyways, let's see what happens tomorrow. She's already dropped down to 256 since dindin, so that's good.
