MOTTYL is OTJ!!!!

I know I should just post on Mottyl's OTJ party condo, but I realllllly wanted to click the OTJ icon myself. Been dreaming of it a while.

So, it's Mottyl's big day, and I'm so happy for her, and so grateful to everyone here for your support and help. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for giving advice, help, counselling, sitting with me through low BGs and sleep-deprived freakouts, giving me hope and teaching me about courage, commitment, and breathing deep. We would absolutely without a doubt not be here without you. Thank you for sharing your time and smarts and kindness.

I also want to say a special thank-you to Picknickchick, who found me an amazing vet here in Montreal - a vet who called me on a Sunday, from her cottage, to check how Mottyl was doing. And for being generally supportive and helpful in getting me set up here at the FDMB - indeed, the best place you never want to be.

Two months ago I'd never heard of this place, and now I can't imagine not being here. I may not post every day anymore but I will check in from time to time and Mottyl and I won't forget you.

we love it when our OTJ kitties come back now and then and check in. You want to keep up checking mottyl regularly anyway, per the OTJ directions. Just let us know all is well - it encourages everyone still in the trenches!
