I'm thinking a dose reduction is in order. Thoughts?

I may need to look into getting the U100 syringes and doing the conversions, however that works. When I put .50, .25, etc...it's hardly accurate I'm sure. She seems to be pretty sensitive to the insulin, so accurate measurements are going to be important if I want to get her regulated...not enjoying how crazy her numbers are.

I'd definitely give a reduction a try. Getting an unshootable pmps is a good indicator that the dose is too high. Your high amps are largely a result of giving one shot daily; getting two shootable pre shots daily should definitely help. I like your 0.25 this am. Yes, U100 needles should make these small doses easier.

just be sure to get U-100 with half unit markings - I resisted using the U-100 conversions for a long time but after I tried them I really liked them - dosing a .2 unit should be helpful to you. Another consider is using a caliper which I started doing - but wondering if you will be on insulin long enough to have to worry about that
