More question on Max Cat food

About this Max Cat canned food, both duck and chicken......each time Martha eats it, her bg shoots up over 200. What is the deal if it's so low in carbs? Can anyone explain it? She really loves this food but I'm afraid to feed it to her.

You can save yourself a lot of these questions if you print it out and take it shopping

Personally, I go with Friskies pates in the large can poultry versions as I'm feeding 14 cats.
