I'm sorry nobody replied earlier! But the answer is "it depends" If you KNOW that you didn't pierce the skin at all, literally shot it into the air, then you can reload and try again.

BUT . . . if there is a chance you did pierce the skin, and you're not sure how much was actually injected, and a portion of it went into the fur (this is called a "fur shot") then do NOT reload and reshoot. There is no way of knowing how much was actually injected.

Last but not least, don't beat yourself up It happens to ALL of us!
