We are on our way to Myrtle Beach and dropped Max off at my parent's house last night. Of course, this morning when I was showing my Mom how to test and shoot, Max's bgl was 178... Humph. Of course we did not give insulin.
Max had steadily started creeping up to the high 300, low 400 range on .3u earlier in the week, so the past 3 days he has been getting .4u and slowly began going back down to the low to mid 200 range. Is 150-200 still too low for him to drop to before having to decrease the dose again? How on earth do you measure .35u with any accuracy?
Right before we left 6 hrs later, I had Mom check him while I watched......what a mess! We got 238 but now I'm worried about whether or not she can do it. I want to keep things as simple as possible for her. Any suggestions? My Dad had a bad accident a few weeks back and is unable to help her. Oh the stress!
