Not sure if he's still bouncing from Friday or if 1u isn't enough...will hold for a few more cycles to see what happens...sigh...

Well, IF he follows his pattern, this should be the cycle when you see some movement. Paws crossed.

Darn, +9=376. Will hold for one more day, then increase back to 1.25? Not sure what to do since he went low on 1.25 last week. Or maybe give 1.25u to get the high 300s number down to a low 300, then give the 1u??

Ugh-I hate having his blood sugar be so high for this long...

He is such a puzzle, Lyndsey. I really thought his pattern was taking several cycles to react to a new dose, but it's not looking that way.

How about a fat one unit? You pull up a little more than one unit. (you could do a sample syringe and mark where you want the dose - little more than one but not 1.25?)

The more I read about the Somogyi effect the more it seems to relate to what is going on with Mittens...see bullet point #1 after "What if You Don't Stop It" section...it explains Mittens' cycles to a 'T'.

And here is the drop...tonight's +3=271. Have a feeling it's gonna be a long night...if he drops super low, I'll be pretty sure that Somogyi rebound is going on.
