OMGOMG!!!!

Thank you so fkn much to everyone here providing info
& support and help

Miss Tabs numbers are going down & she went in the litterbox today!!(first time since July.
She'd been peeing all over the house. We just got a playpen to pop her into at night w a small litterbox, a bed & water& we didn't even get the chance to start using it!!!)

She also jumped up on the back of the couch to look out the front window. She's definitely wanted to before but never even tried

This is all new & extremely exciting

Her eyes are brighter, clearer
& I feel like she's definitely exiting the brain fog somewhat.

we are testing three times a day, dosing her w 1.5 units of Basaglar 2x a day, 12 hours apart (BG hasn't been low enough to stop the insulin)

We have successfully gone over to free feeding fancy feast pate with two small sneaky bowls of dry hidden up where Miss Tab doesn't jump so our little old food issues lady Nena doesn't have to call her lawyer on us lol.

Sweet Sugar baby is snuggled right up next to my leg all warm & purry. I'm so happy and relieved. We love her so much!!❤️
Plz give all yr critters big hugs from all of us here in the Whiz Palace lol

LOL got too excited too soon.
Woke up this morning to a soaking wet couch. It can't be just one pee either, no cat could possibly pee that much at one time. Ugh. It's all sprayed w Biokleen & the cushions are on the porch. Guess she's going to have to go in the playpen at night for a bit. Still, there's definitely been progress

:banghead:

It might be worth considering giving Miss Tab a B12 methylcobalamin and folic acid supplement for neuropathy. More severe cases of neuropathy manifest by cats starting to walk on their hocks, but sometimes milder cases can manifest in poor bladder control (and sometimes not jumping as high, or as frequently, as a cat normally might). Improved regulation and methylcobalamin supplementation can help resolve any neuropathy present.

Zobaline is a well-known B12 methylcobalamin supplement but it's a little pricey. Many US members instead use a Vitacost B12 methylcobalamin supplement plus a folic acid supplement. I'm tagging @Diane Tyler's Mom to ask her to post info on these supplements for you.

As always, it's advised to discuss any potential dietary supplements with the vet first.

Here is the link https://www.vitacost.com/vitacost-vitamin-b-12-methylcobalamin-5000-mcg-100-capsules-6

Alot of members use this , I use it myself you can buy it on line from Vitacost
Vitamin B-12 Methylcobalamin -- 5000 mcg - 100 Capsules
It's 17.99 just be sure this is the one you buy
The only difference is the Zobaline has 200 mcgs of folic acid
So I buy the folic acid at the supermarket and crush it up and add it to the B-12
If you can't find the 200 mcg get the 400 mcg and cut it in half and crush it up
The Vitacost brand is a capsule so just open it and pour the powder on the wet food and I always add some water to the wet food.
Has no taste, no need to crush it up
The Zobaline is 33.99 for 60 pills, too expensive
I saw a big improvement I'd say 3 months, could be sooner. One capsule a day.
Once you get your kitty better regulated the B-12 methyl will help

Ha ha we do that too. Make sure it's a lower carb kibble though. It will help prevent the other cat from becoming diabetic and it will not be a huge deal if your diabetic does get up there. We keep epigen 90 on the table. Every once in a blue moon my old arthritic cat manages to pull herself up there. Lol.
