Looks good, especially if your ss is correct and you skipped the night before. Denise, it would be so helpful if you could check back in and respond to some of our questions after you post. The night you posted with a 69 and then didn't came back was especially nerve wracking. Btw,good job starting a new topic today :mrgreen:

Several things I am concerned about. If you must shoot earlier than 12 hours and the number is lower, please get a quick second test before feeding. You want to be sure the number is rising (so the previous shot is gone and she is no longer dropping) before you give insulin. If it is still dropping, I would skip at that point, or wait till +12 and retest if at all possible. It seems like you can often shoot 12 hours apart but then sometimes shoot 2 hours earlier. Is that because your work schedule is variable?

You are shooting the same amount into a 200 as you do a 300. 2 units could be too high for a 220 but just right for a 320. We could set you up with a scale if you give us some data. Is there a chance ypu could do a curve this weekend?

I think you need to reduce the dose so you have two shootable preshots or start shooting a tiny dose at numbers in the 170 range. Skipping shots is not a good plan.

If you'd get some midcycle numbers, I'd try to set up a scale for you. "if the number is this, shoot this. If it's this, shoot this instead". Shooting 2 units in to every shot or skipping is not helping Miss Kitty get to better numbers.

BUT to do this, you'll need to post more often and get advice on what to shoot. And give us feedback when we ask questions.

I would not give 2 units at 206 because you will likely get a number tonight too low to shoot. Could you give 1.5?
 
omg i have been so sick the past two days puking. today is the first day i havent puked....miss kitty is well. her sugar this morning is 253...gave 1.0 units, at 9:00am
 
OMG there you are Sue! For some reason i havent seen any new posts and I havent received your attached spreadsheet? Or if you sent it I cant find it. I think I have a black cloud over my head or my computer has demons. Anyhow, Miss Kittys reading today at 4:15p was 253. I gave 2.0 units. Today is the second day of her not going to bathroom and having a bowel movement. I did give her a laxative so her next reading may be high?
 
I hope she goes soon. Yes, constipation can raise bg levels. What are you giving her for constipation? Lots of people add pumpkin (the plain kind, not pumpkin pie filling)to help move things along.

I will send another copy of the ss. Watch for it and check your spam folder just in case.
 
im giving laxatone. She finally had a nice bowel movement this morning! her sugar this afternoon at 1:54p was 213....i gave her one unit
 
did not get spreadsheet. did you send it to ....dedodude@sssnet.com?......sugar this morning was at 8:10a is 167...only gave 1/2 unit
 
Check to make sure you are logged in to FDMB.

Sue is offline for about 10 days.

I can see your old spreadsheet. Can you log in to Google docs? If yes, your old spreadsheet is there. Just click on it and update it.
 
ok got the google drive downloaded, found the spreadsheet, but its not letting me add anything......miss kittys sugar reading this morning is 209...gave 1.5 units....at 10:40a
 
You were able to log in, so that helps.
Rather than downloading it, just click on it to open it online. Then, you should be able to edit it online.
You must always be logged in to Google in order to edit your files online.
 
Miss Kittys reading tonight .....9:24pm.....161......... .05 units given...............i still cant get this spreadsheet to where i can enter readings in it. i just dont know what the problem is.....ugh
 
There's always starting from scratch with the instructions in the Tech Forum.
Print them out.
Go slowly and do each step 1 at a time.
