Kenzo is OTJ and has been since 2016. Long story short his sugar went up in 300's and he's not eating. I'm suspecting pancreatitis. We are awaiting labs for kidney, bladder, and pancreas before we start Lantus again to make sure it wasn't an isolated increase in BS. Vet gave him trans dermal Mirtazapine and I didn't even give him the full dose and he reacted very strange. He was running around in the middle of the night scratching under his neck like I've never seen before and when he tried to jump on the bed he fell off. He's very agitated on the medication which I read can be a side effect but I'm wondering if the itching could be an allergic reaction and I should not give it again or should I call the vet.
