Milo was very high this am. He was over 500 as my as shows. I did preshot reading prior to his eating. The number scares me. I fed him and waited 20 minutes to inject.
I then started wondering if I was giving more of a fur shot than good clean injection. I carefully tented the skin between shoulders making sure no fur, pulled skin up and injected. I watched and looked at several video and pics. Is this correct. I'm just worried about that high number. Will test every 2 hrs today to try and get curve.
I gave 1.25U again as SS shows. This was 2nd time at that level.
Only different I can think of. I thought Wilderness was low carb so he had 2 servings after shot last night. It was grain free chicken. Then I started reading and it looks like I was way off and it's super high carb. I immediately filled feeder with FF low carb from short list.
The foid list is what is confusing me this time. What is best super low carb food for now. He eats anything.

Where is the link to your spread sheet?
The 512 could be due to a full shot for the last shot

Cat Info has a food list here. You want column C for carbohydrates to be under 10 for routinely given foods.

Have a few cans of Fancy Feast Gravy Lovers on hand in case he goes low enough that you need to increase his numbers.

I'm feeding 13 cat in my home, plus 3 in a garage. I feed Friskies pates in poultry flavors except Mixed Grill (11% calories from carbohydrates) which come in 13 oz cans.

With ProZinc, you do not need to wait for him to eat before you shoot. Test, put down food, and shoot all within 5-15 minutes - unless there is some other health issue to be worked around (ex pancreatitis, you may need to be sure food is eaten and stays down).

As update in title says +4 was 180. I updated in SS also. Will do every 2 hours now to make sure we don't go too low. I have dry for that in case needed.
