Running out the door with no time to post, but wanted to thank everyone for their help. I used my kitty psychology this morning on Mikey. He's always hungry at mealtime, so I gave him the dry first. He ate about half of his 1/16 of a cup, before he realized that he was eating swill instead of kitty crack (FF turkey). I gave him a whole can of FF rather than the 3/4. Could someone please tell this cat to read the right books!!! Have a good day!

Apparently Mikey's motto is, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." When I gave him the dry food first tonight, he told me off. Literally! So ready or not, it's all wet food. Here we go!

the dry food he had this morning might still be impacting his blood sugar til tomorrow - or it could clear out sooner. You'll know by testing.

It's a good problem to have - the canned is better for him. It's a bit like having your kid choose broccoli over ice cream! :-D he's a smart boy!
 
He's down to 255, which seems like a pretty fast drop.

As far as the food goes, this cat has always had the best food sense ever. He eats exactly what he needs, no more, no less. I guess he needs all wet food now. I never thought I'd be pushing junk food on my cat! lol
 
Mikey defies the odds!!! He swoops down at +2, screeches to a stop after he's caused your heart to putter patter.....and then goes back up. I really wonder if he's coming back down later.....maybe throwing an inverted curve?

If there is any chance to just get w +6 or +7 one night, we'd have a clue! :-D :-D :-D
