Might possibly need help on AMPS in 3 hours

Just a dip...
Is this depot talking from ONE unit once? Or the LC diet switch?
Would it be wise to reduce, or keep him at 0.75?

Out of shark territory!
Advised to test every 30 minutes for 2 hours, repeat with syrup if below 50 again.

I'm of to bed. Mikala will take over from here, I'll check back in 3 hours, unless Monty drops again.

Thank you so much friends.
I was panicking so much I couldn’t even update the sheet. Pew! His blood sugar is going up but we are still measuring him every 20 minutes in case it drops.
I will reduce tomorrow to 0.50 and see because I don’t know if it was just that 1 unit (stupid I did that) or the sudden change in his food from 100% too high carb from Royal Canin to almost none carbs in Ziwipeek chicken and Weruva Paw Lickin’ Chicken. He is still getting around 15% Royal Canin dry food in his Ziwipeek just to get him to eat it.

I don't see the 1 unit on your spreadsheet but cutting out carbs can drop overall numbers by up to 100 points.

I can't stay with you but there will be eyes on you.
If things get crazy again, you can't edit the title of this thread. You will have to start a new thread. Just to the left of where you type the title you will see a box. Hold the mouse down and you will see an option to put a red 911 on the title.

Thank you so much.
I am constantly updating the sheet.
The 1 unit was 4/21 AMPS.
This low carb have been amazing so far unless it is the 1 unit of course.

Changing to low carb can have a huge affect. I’m going to see if I can get Rita to do a post here so you can check out Lulu’s spreadsheet and see what happened with her when she changed to low carb. But note - Lulu’s dose had been raised too quickly on the vets advice and before she was being home tested so we did drop the dose faster than you normally would, I think most of this is noted in the comments section.

Update:
Monty’s blood sugar has been stable and the same for an hour now. My boyfriend/Monty’s Dad, Morten is staying up and I’m going to bed now because I have school tomorrow.
I can’t thank all of you enough. This community of knowledge, understanding, support and love is amazing and something I want to tell everyone about.
I feel so happy about my boy being on almost only low carb food now. My little girl Molly is of course also on a low carb all wet because she cannot get enough of wet food so that has been super easy. She is loving the change and I can literally pick any kind of low carb food from the sheet you made and she will love it. Right now she’s on Carnilove wet food and she loooves. It’s so funny to see her dance around us when it’s dinner time.
It’s 2.30am here and at 6am it’s time for insulin and I’m only giving him 0.50 unit levemir. I’m home all day tomorrow studying on my computer in school so I will test him every two hours.
Hugs to everyone in here from us,
Monty, Molly, Morten & Mikala
