Mid Day Snack Question

Is there any food we can give our cat during lunch time that won't raise his glucose and we don't have to worry about insulin? Our cat is struggling with the change of only getting to each twice a day, 12 hrs in between. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciate.

Any kind of protein should work. A lot of people feed several small meals during the day. Things like bonito flakes are good for treats. I use to give Trouble boiled chicken for snacks.

If your cat is a grazer there's nothing wrong with continuing that lifestyle for him, it's better on the pancreas to have several small meals than just two big ones.

I was going to say what they all said already. Most of us feed them smaller amounts throughout the day with the heavy meals being around shot time. Dogs do better with 2 meals a day only, but there’s no way my cats would stand for that
