Hello. I'm very curious about micro dosing. My Buddy is on lantus and use the u-100 syringes. I see on threads where some change doses as little as 0.01. The syringes i us only unit markings. As I can judge half units. Other wise would difficult. Is there syringes that have finer markings. Just wondering about microdosing.

Hi

The smallest markings you will find are half unit marks that I would suggest you try and get because they help a lot specially when microdosing, but anything less than half units you can either use calipers to measure the dose or guesstimate, I used calipers and then created a guide that I placed on the fridge door ( I shoot in the kitchen) and I found it was easier to compare the syringe with the gide if it was vertical

This is the link to a gide on how to use the calipers and I'm posting you some photos as how the 0.1 and drop dose looks on BD syringes (it could vary if you are using a different brand but probably not by much)

Here's also a very useful link for fine dosing
