Meters - Freestyle and One Touch

I was told by a co-worker that the Freestyle Freeform and One touch are basically the same meter and the strips of each will work with each other. Is this correct?

No......Freestyle is made by Abbott and OTU is made by Lifescan.

Do not go with the Freestyle meters; they don't give you true readings and many cats have registered numbers much lower than their actual levels.

The OneTouch meters are quite good and reliable.
