Meter Reccomendations

The ReliOn Micro Strips are sometime hard to come by, which has prompted me to start looking for a new meter. We have been pretty happy with this meter and I am a bit torn about what to do moving forward. I am looking to stay with a human meter as I think we are getting close to being OTJ! Any recommendations would be greatly appreciate. I haven't been on here in a while as we are slowly but seems like surely stepping down off our Lantus!

Hi Georgesmom, I think you will get more attention if you post your question on the Health Forum. If you want to stay with the Relion, I'm pretty sure you could order the strips on Walmarts website. Just be sure to order plenty in advance. Otherwise, any human meter would do although some say that meters with the word Tru in them aren't as accurate.

ReliOn Confirm and Confirm Micro are the same as Arkray Glucocard 01 and Glucocard 01 Mini. The latter strips are available on www.ADWDiabetes.com
