I am currently shooting 9a/9p off tomorrow and work 2p-10p on Friday then right into 6a-2p Saturday - Wednesday...Sorry I big typo, which confused me and you.
Split shots tomorrow maybe? Then that doesn't help Friday nights into Sat days..

Edited to change day shifts from 6/6 to 6/2p sorry.

Oh boy, that's a toughie. I really don't like that you're gone for 12 hours Saturday 'cause if you give a half dose Friday at 10:30 (not sure how long it takes you to get home and prep for shot) then turn around and give a full dose shot 7 hours later, you're causing a bit too much depot (shed). And you can't go home mid shift to check on him, can you? That was pretty much always my trouble too.

I guess you could do another half dose for the Saturday AM shot, but then that one has to carry him over for 12+ hours. Maybe each shot could be 3/4ths his dose? 1.5U then?

Kind of thinking "aloud" here. What do you think of the 1.5U dose both Friday night then Saturday AM? That much seems like too much to give 7 hours apart, but you know how he's doing on 2U and he appears to be staying fairly high on that much, so it's probably OK to do 1.5U that close together. That's a 25% decrease. The idea is to not give so much that he would go low, but give enough that he doesn't get so high over the 12+ hours Saturday.

You will do splits Friday at 9AM & 10:30AM, if that's 12 hours before you'd be back home and can give the PM shot.

Does that seem safe and doable?

Yowza! I know what you are saying, Vicky, but that +7 shot Sat am worries me. I'd rather see him run a little high than drop too low. I'm thinking the evening (Fri) shot should be reduced more - like maybe to 1 or 1.25u. But that is more of an "emotional" suggestion than a scientific one, I have to admit.

Peggy, you will still be dealing with being gone more than 12 hours for 5 days, right? Hopefyllu, on those days he will be off on more of an 11/13 schedule and you can shoot the full doses on those and hope they can even each other out. Not an ideal situation, of course.

(Hopefyllu - geeze, I need to go to bed! I don't even know how I did that. Being dyslexic doesn't even explain it!)

Thanks gals!!
I will be gone only 8 hrs or so at a time. It takes me about 7-10 mins to get home from work. Friday night is 2p-10p so, I can do the split shots.
Saturday, I won't be able to leave to check in on him .
But will be gone from 5:45 am to 2:15pm. So 8 hrs 45 mins for the five days starting on Sat.
I don't know maybe I can do a split shot tonight? But that wont help anything.
- Friday do split shots 9/10:30 and reduced dose in pm....yes
now on Saturday I need to reduce the dose to 1 or 1.5 I think I get it. But I wont be gone for 12 hours at a time if it makes shooting easier.

I am sorry about my first post I posted 6/6 which is 12 hrs old habit - it is 6a-2p

It sounds like you'd be home by the time the 5:30 AM Saturday shot peaks, 2:30 would be +9. Not sure that we've determined a nadir for him. Maybe sometime when you have time off you could curve a couple days after having him on steady 12/12 so you have an idea of when peak is.

So I feel a little better about suggesting 1.5U on the Fri PM and Sat AM shots, but I understand what Sheila is saying as well. You could very well have actual overlap of those 2 doses and get a low, so probably best to be more conservative.
