? Merry 12/29 3.9(70) PMPS, 5.1(92) +1, 4.3(77) +2, 4.8(86) +3, 4.6(83) +4

I was surprised when Merry was at 3.9(70) at PMPS because at +7 he was at 124 & he had his snack as well. The lowest I've shot was 67 two days ago so I gave him 5u. I have lots of strips, high carb food, honey on hand & will check him again at +1. Paws crossed everything goes smoothly again

4.3(77) at +2. He went down a bit. He usually has a snack around now so I guess I should feed him as I normally would? Or should I add a bit of higher carb food to his usual food? So far I've never had to give him high carb food.

I would feed a LC snack to see if Merry is willing to surf. That 77 is close to PS, so it may be an active cycle.

I would start with LC to encourage him to surf. If he drops again, add higher carbs.

He seems to be surfing nicely. You can always do an alarm for +6 if you don't feel comfy. Maybe leave out a snack for him to nibble on if possible.

Merry did well last night. I checked him at +8 and he was 6.1 and this morning at AMPS he was 8.3. Hopefully he does well today, gets some more greens & doesn't experience a bounce after last night I never had to give any high carb food either so that's good.
