Meow is gone

Sunday he was fine. He sat in my lap for an hour just purring away. His blood sugar had been great, he didnt even need his insulin. I had hope he was going to be OTJ once again.

But on Monday night I noticed he wasnt eating. His eyes werent opening all the way. Tuesday morning we took him to the vet. They did tests and I got the call as we were leaving for my stepfathers memorial. His liver had failed. There was an infection that had taken root and in the matter of 2 days had shut everything down. We put him down that morning. It was one of the hardest things I have ever done.

We lost my dad MArch 2011, my stepdad March 2012 and now My beloved cat March 2013.

I thank you all for your support and advice these past years.

I'm so sorry that Meow had to leave you. I know he didn't want to. It is so hard to be left behind while our loved ones continue on their journey out of our sight. I know your heart is so very broken. I'm so sorry.
